Riders Republic Passes 17 Million Players and Adds an Offline Mode

Riders Republic is dropping the always-online requirement for much of its content. Ubisoft has dated the Nomad offline mode for 9 December on current platforms, alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 release, and confirmed in its 20 October announcement that the game has passed 17 million players.

Nomad allows open-world exploration, progress through solo events, item collection and character customisation, and offline progress merges into the main save when the player reconnects. The independence is not complete: the shop, seasonal progression, sponsors, multiplayer and user events still need a connection, a limit worth knowing for anyone playing on the move.

Before the update, a free trial runs from 22 to 26 October, with progress carrying into the paid game once it is bought. First-time riders can check Games Mix’s Riders Republic tips, keeping in mind that the trial is temporary access, not a free copy.
